So here it is, the end of the school year: where has it gone?!

We’d like to share with you a few of the highlights from the year as well as take the time to say goodbye to our Year 6 leavers. We hope you continue to thrive in secondary school and that you’ll come back and visit us!

For everybody else, stay safe and we’ll see you again on the 30th August refreshed and ready to start again!

  • 21-07-2017 - Pod Showdown!

Across the school we have many spaces where children are able to work in small groups but we thought that they needed a bit of livening up. The Reception staff and Year One staff were given a ‘pod’ each and asked to redecorate it. Of course it became a competition and each team worked incredibly hard on bringing their pod to life with paintings and 3D elements in each room. As you can see, Reception went for an underwater theme in their room whilst Year One have based theirs on the jungle. We think both teams did an amazing job but there had to be one winner: Year One!

Well done to both teams who have done a fantastic job- the children have loved looking in as the spaces have developed and are excited to be able to use them next year!

  • 21-07-2017 - Attendance Party

A massive congratulations to these children who all managed to achieve 100% attendance this year! That’s right: they turned up to school every single day for the entire year!

We thought they deserved a reward for being so diligent so they were invited to a party which consisted of games, food and a bouncy slide!

Well done for working so hard this year everybody!

  • 21-07-2017 - Flower Exhibition

In term 6, all of Regis Manor read a book called ‘The Flower’ and did a whole week’s worth of work around the story. Using the children’s work, an exhibition has been set up in the school hall where parents and carers were invited to come and see what the children have been up to.

We had creative writing, paintings, clay models… a whole host of different projects based on the book by John Light.

Thanks to everybody who attended and well done to the children for producing such fabulous work!

  • 21-07-2017 - Football stars

We know that at Regis Manor everybody is a star but these three boys stood out for their achievements in football: all three of them were presented trophies at their awards ceremony and we couldn’t be prouder. Well done, boys!
