Singing Assemblies

Every week the children at Regis Manor participate in a singing assembly. We sing a variety of songs
from different genres and the children have an input into the songs that we choose to sing. The
assembly enables all of the children to feel included and like a member of the team.
It is really important for children to sing together to develop confidence, develop memory and
concentration. Not to mention that it is fun!
As a school we are learning Makaton and have been learning to sign to songs including Shine (Take
That) and We Are The Champions (Queen) – to name just a few. The video below shows Year 4
singing and signing their Harvest song.
